Health Literacy

Most of our efforts pertaining to this program involve studying new approaches and developing innovative ways to implement them. We evaluate our success in this field by gathering qualitative and quantitative data, and using that information to measure shifts and changes from our baseline measurements.

Some of our areas of focus are:

1. COVID-19

2. Chronic Disease Mitigation

3. Other health related topics with a focus on oral health, mental health, maternal and child health

Disease Mitigation

We see every challenge as an opportunity and this initiative helps us ensure that our partners are better prepared to manage the unique situations they find themselves in. We are invested in an innovative approach that empowers our community and delivers the support they need, when they need it. We provide programs that focus on reducing the burden of diseases. Some of our programs focus on oral health, diabetes, and cardio vascular diseases.

Improving Access to Care

Through our programs, we have the potential to make a real and positive change in the community. This is one of our key areas of focus here at Purpose Med Solutions, and a source of much success for our Non-Profit Organization.

School based activities for children with a focus on healthy eating and obesity reduction by  partnering with various agencies.

The first project is the American Diabetes Association’s Project Power.

Purpose Med Solutions will work local medical centers, universities and hospitals to bring medical and dental health camps to assess the health of the residents and provide referrals for care.

Empowering Growth and Development

We partner with local training institutes, work force development and vocational training centers to educate students on skill development needed to attain the necessary skills in the current job market. We encourage students to be entrepreneurs and facilitators for social change.
